Kulturzug Berlin – Wrocław – experience culture by the kilometer!
From readings to concerts, karaoke or language classes to club nights: our cultural programme on board of the Kulturzug (Culture Train) offers something for everyone! Travelling with the Kulturzug is therefore worthwhile in more than one way: on the one hand, you travel to the European Capital of Culture 2016 for only €19, and on the other hand, there is definitely no chance of getting bored on the journey thanks to the varied programme. The Kulturzug travels from Berlin-Lichtenberg to Wroclaw on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, and back on Friday and Sunday evening.
Because of its unique cultural programme, the Kulturzug has been awarded the European Culture Brand Award 2017 in the category “European Trend Brand of the Year 2017”. In 2018, it also received the German Rail Transport Award presented by the German Rail Customer Association and the filmPolska Award of the Polish Institute Berlin 2022.
The Kulturzug makes a significant contribution to the dialogue between the cities and the growing together of the German-Polish border region and provides important impetus for cultural cooperation between Berlin and Wrocław.
This train is not just a train that goes from A to B, but one that connects people, cities and regions.
