Culture Train Berlin- Wrocław (Breslau) – experience culture with every passing kilometre!
The Culture Train to Wrocław ran every weekend on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until end of December 2025 in its 10th season under the motto “Expedition Europe”. There are currently no trips taking place. The Culture Train ran for the last time on December 28, 2025.
Since 2022, together with the long-standing team of curators, we have been responsible for the cultural programme on board the culture train, which has been redesigned for each weekend since the start of the culture train on the occasion of the European Capital of Culture year in Wrocław (Wrocław 2016). The cultural train makes a significant contribution to the growing together of the German-Polish border region and provides important impetus for cultural cooperation between Berlin and Wrocław.
Our congratulations: In May 2023, the Kulturzug team was awarded the Europe Certificate for its humanitarian commitment during the war of aggression against Ukraine. Almost 7,000 refugees were accompanied on the cultural train from Wrocław to Cottbus.
This train is not just a train that goes from A to B, but one that connects people, cities and regions.
