The Berlin art scene’s biggest joint venture celebrates the city’s status as a hotspot of contemporary art in September each year.
Every year in September, art fans from all over the world are invited to experience this five-day event showcasing the tremendous energy and creativity of the Berlin art scene. At once a point of attraction and a source of friction, contemporary art is the source of so much of Berlin’s vitality and finds expression in the city’s breathtaking artistic diversity. As the driving force behind the Berlin Art Week, we bring key players and art-market figures together with public and private exhibition spaces, which open their doors for inspiring insights into the current state of contemporary art production. Current Information
The 13th edition of Berlin Art Week will take place from 11-15 SEP 2024. This year, more than 100 partners, including museums, exhibition houses, private collections, project spaces, and numerous galleries throughout the city, will inspire visitors with an extensive festival programme full of exhibition openings, special programmes, talks, workshops, and much more.
As a special highlight, the festival centre BAW Garten, this year as a guest at Gropius Bau, invites visitors to come together during the entire festival week with a daily changing programme. BAW Garten will also provide information on the overall programme of Berlin Art Week as well as the tours of various Berlin neighbourhoods, so that you can set off from here to explore the whole city.
