Under this motto, Berlin will celebrate the turn of the year at the Brandenburg Gate, simultaneously broadcasting New Year’s images and greetings from Germany to the whole world.

Several food and drink stalls will be open to keep you refreshed. And after the countdown, the big New Year’s Eve fireworks kick off – broadcasted live on Das Erste as part of Florian Silbereisen’s New Year’s Eve show. After the fireworks, the party continues with party beats until 1 a.m. Yeah 26!
Event Area
The party zone includes Platz des 18. März as well as parts of Ebertstraße and Straße des 17. Juni.
Entrances:
- Ebertstraße South (near Behrenstraße)
- Ebertstraße North (near Dorotheenstraße)
- Yitzhak-Rabin-Straße / corner Scheidemannstraße
Please note that access to the event area is only possible through these three entrances. You cannot enter from Großer Stern/Straße des 17. June or through the Tiergarten, as this areas will be closed off.
Tickets
Tickets are only available on this website through our partner Ticketmaster. It is not possible to reserve or order tickets by telephone or email.
Admission will only be granted to ticket holders.
Maximum of two tickets per booking.
Tickets are personalized – names must be provided during booking.
Please bring a valid photo ID.
Admission: 31 December from 9.30pm. Please arrive before 11pm!
After 10 pm, please use the entrances at Ebertstraße North and Yitzhak-Rabin-Straße / Scheidemannstraße.
Security checks will be carried out at the entrances, so please allow extra time.

Yes, but free tickets are required. Food and drinks can be purchased on site.
Tickets are available via the ‘Tickets’ button on this page. Capacity on site is limited to 20,000 people. Tickets are released in batches, so if none are available now, please try again later.
The best way to reach the entrances to the venue is from Potsdamer Platz, Hauptbahnhof, Unter den Linden, and Friedrichstraße. Important! The three entrances cannot bereached from Großer Stern/Straße des 17. Juni or through the Tiergarten. These areas are closed.
We recommend travelling by public transport. Due to the expected traffic situation on New Year’s Eve, stations may close at short notice. Please check shortly before your arrival, e.g. at vbb.de, bvg.de, sbahn.berlin or via the relevant apps.
There are three entrances: Ebertstraße South (at the intersection with Behrenstraße), Ebertstraße North (at the intersection with Dorotheenstraße) and Yitzhak-Rabin-Straße/Scheidemannstraße.
Tickets, as well as bags and personal items, will be checked at the entrances. Please allow extra time for your journey accordingly.
To enjoy the best view of the fireworks from the event site, please arrive before 23:00.
Important! Access to the event site is only possible via the three entrances mentioned above. These entrances cannot be reached from Großer Stern/Straße des 17. Juni, nor through the Tiergarten. The area is closed off.
If you wish to enter the grounds between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., we recommend using the Ebertstraße entrances or those on the corner of Nord and Yitzhak-Rabin-Str./Scheidemannstr.
Why? Because if there are long queues at the Ebertstraße entrance, or if it is closed, you will have to walk for about 15 minutes via Behrenstraße, Wilhelmstraße/Unter den Linden, and Dorotheenstraße to reach the other entrances.
Yes, the event is suitable for people with limited mobility, and accessible toilets are available.
Yes, but minors under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The Jugendschutzgesetz (German Youth Protection Act) applies.
No, pets are not allowed. Exceptions apply only to guide and assistance dogs with valid certification.
No. Fireworks, flares, smoke bombs, and other pyrotechnics are prohibited.
That depends on their size. Backpacks, suitcases or bags larger than A4 size are not permitted on the premises, nor are private pillows or blankets.
Food and drinks are available on site. You may bring non-alcoholic drinks in PET-containers up to 0.5 L. Containers or bottles made of glass, metal, or ceramic are not allowed. Exceptions apply for medical needs (with doctor’s note or ID).
Alcoholic drinks and food from outside are not permitted.
Cash and card payments are accepted, with all major cards.

- Alcoholic drinks and food brought from outside are prohibited.
- Glass, metal, or ceramic containers (except for medical needs or for baby food) are not allowed.
- Backpacks, suitcases, or bags larger than A4 size are prohibited.
- Private pillows or blankets are not permitted.
- Spray cans/bottles, corrosive, flammable, or coloring substances, as well as pressurized containers with hazardous or easily flammable contents, are forbidden.
- Bulky items such as ladders, stools, (folding) chairs, boxes, grills, and related equipment are not allowed.
- Noise instruments are prohibited.
Additionally, the following are strictly forbidden:
- Informational materials, objects, or clothing with racist, nationalist, xenophobic, or unconstitutional content.
- Flags, banners, posters, signs, symbols, flyers, and placards.
- Banner poles or similar items.
- Any objects prohibited by law.
- Illegal drugs under §29 BtMG (§29 of the German Narcotics Act).
- Weapons of any kind, including all items that could be used as striking or stabbing weapons.
- Laser pointers, drones, umbrellas, selfie sticks, or similar objects.
