Kultursommerfestival

Berlin isn’t just the Brandenburg Gate, the TV Tower and Museum Island. Berlin is also Gropiusstadt, Dahlem and Hellersdorf. Once again this year, between June and September, we bought a wide variety of events to exciting locations all over Berlin. In every district, in every neighbourhood and on every day throughout the summer. Always free of charge. Always outdoors.

Together with major cultural institutions, committed neighbourhood initiatives and independent actors from the local scene, we developed a diverse cultural programme of live concerts, readings, theatre productions, performance art, dance and workshops designed to fill every corner of Berlin with creative energy.

The Kultursommerfestival is part of the DRAUSSENSTADT urban culture initiative.
