PRESS RELEASE | Long Night of Museums this year with the motto “Love in Berlin”
Save the date! This year, the Long Night of Museums in Berlin on 30 August 2025 will be all about love. 75 museums are organising a very special night in the capital – over 750 events can be experienced with just one ticket.
What is a broken heart syndrome? Are robots better lovers? What was meant by the ‘Wunschkindpille’ in the GDR and what did the Stasi understand by ‘honey traps’? During the Long Night of Museums, visitors will learn a lot about love – from magic spells in ancient Egypt to new perspectives on gender today. There will also be opportunities to flirt: whether at Midnight Tango, the electro masked ball, the queer open-air karaoke or the swing party. Talks, express tours, workshops, concerts and shows will also be held throughout the city; the main meeting point for the Long Night of Museums will once again be on the Museum Island.
The entire programme will be online from 22 July 2025; tickets will be available from 5th August – as always at langenachtdermuseen.berlin. With the help of the multifunctional website and the Museo-Mat, visitors can filter the extensive programme of the Long Night of Museums according to their interests, get suitable tips and plan their own routes.
