Fraenkelufer 10
10999 Berlin
Six Jewish and non-Jewish dancers put on an impressive performance of contemporary dance in front of the synagogue on Fraenkelufer. The choreography is based on the breathing method BBM - Breathing Bodies Movement by Nir de Volff, which enables the dancers to dive deep into their emotional worlds. This unique technique promotes an intense physical and emotional connection that turns dance into a powerful expression of memory and reflection.
The performance ends with a serious message: “I dance in her name, 80 years later.” A memory of the past carried into the present. The dance is not only an artistic performance, but also an appeal to keep history alive. Spectators are invited to film the performance and share their impressions with the hashtag #80yearsWW2 on Instagram or TikTok. An act of remembrance that connects the past with the future.
