Community singing

The music theatre production “People of Song” is the result of a close, transnational collaboration between Namibian and German artists. The project combines Namibian choral singing and traditional music with new compositions and in this way creates a musical encounter between Namibia and Germany.  

Along with the music theatre production, which will be performed from the 21st to the 23rd of November in the Humboldt Forum, the singers from “People of Song” also invite the public to an open community singing event in the Genezarethkirche. Accompanied by a young orchestra from Bremen, this format offers the opportunity to get actively involved and to meet the artists from Windhoek and Berlin.  

Participation in the event is free. Registration is not required.
