The DAC reflects the great need for action in all areas of diversity and culture and worked under our roof in close exchange with the Cultural Education Project Fund until 2020. Both of these support measures serve to strengthen Berlin\u2019s diversity in the cultural sector and help to dismantle contact barriers. The DAC takes a long-term strategy in its efforts to combat structural and institutionally anchored forms of discrimination. It advises cultural institutions and cultural administrations and also works to foster freelance cultural creators from underrepresented communities. The project office especially supports the transfer of proven activities and models into tangible cultural practice.
